Hon Mavetera Reaffirms Commitment to Empowering Women in Technology

This morning, the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Hon. Tatenda Mavetera, delivered the keynote address at the 4th Women in ICT Zimbabwe Conference.

Addressing delegates from across the ICT ecosystem, the Minister underscored Government’s commitment to empowering women and girls in technology through initiatives such as the SheTech Initiative, which is championed by the First Lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa.

Hon. Mavetera called on industry leaders, educators and technology professionals to work together to expand opportunities for women in the sector, noting that inclusive participation in ICT is essential for Zimbabwe’s digital transformation.
